Mary Mahon, the founder of Meditation Creek has been deeply involved in Training & Education for over 20 years. “I got involved in Yoga initially for relaxation and de-stressing, which led on to my interest in meditation.” “Dru Yoga has been an amazing life experience for me since I embarked on my first Dru Teacher Training practice in 2012, having researched extensively to find a style of yoga which suited my needs. I feel it enhances creativity and has a rejuvenating effect on your energy levels. I hope Dru Yoga will be something you can be a part of, too."
Dru Yoga is a graceful form of yoga incorporating postures, breath work, relaxation through meditation, and a sense of calm within the body. The word ‘DRU’ stands for ‘Still Point Within’ with its foundations firmly set in ancient yogic tradition, Dru works on body, mind and spirit – improving strength and flexibility, creating core stability. Unlike other forms of yoga, Dru Yoga’s unique soft flowing movements form a release of blocked energy in our bodies, and is an activity which is designed to be non-strenuous, yet surprisingly powerful and has many modifications to suit all fitness levels.
